Belinda Budge spent 25 years in the publishing industry and is a former board member of HarperCollins Publishers, a global News Corp media company. Her professional journey began as a Lecturer in Cultural Theory. After becoming CEO of a start-up publishing company she joined HarperCollins, where she managed a large portfolio of global content, and provided strategic, commercial and operational leadership to the worldwide business. During the last few years her focus was on managing business transformation through the use of creative thinking, to maximize opportunities and reach a global audience by embracing the disruptive technologies in the digital space.This reached out across the HarperCollins business and delivered a new thinking framework for refining cultural and strategic strengths, goal setting and problem solving.
She founded her creative consultancy in 2012 and is an Associate of Design and Innovation Consultancy, IDEO, (an award-winning global design firm that takes a human-centered, design- based approach to helping organizations in the public and private sectors innovate and grow), a Non Executive Director of Creative England (a Government funded organization promoting creative talent and businesses, providing a platform for new voices and generating jobs and economic growth) and Co-Founder of The MultiKids Foundation (a charity which supports children with special needs to go to school in Ghana, West Africa).
