Creative Industries Federation to be a judge at the Growing Business Awards 2019

August 30, 2019

Each year creative industries from across the UK gather to celebrate and recognise the exceptional growth of their business. Those companies that have not only turned a dream into a reality, but an extremely successful one, come together for a night of reflection and recognition. Last year saw over 450 of the UK’s best and brightest talent submit entries to the awards, so we thought, why not make one of those entries a CIF member this year?

To celebrate such achievements, Creative Industries Federation are delighted to announce their involvement as a judge on the ‘Creative Industries Business of the Year category’. And we’d like to invite all our creative, innovative and ambitious members to nominate their companies before the 12th September 2019 for a chance to take home the trophy.

Who can enter?
The Creative Industries Business of the Year Award welcomes entries from all creative categories, including fashion, advertising, design, film, TV, publishing, music and art. Any business that can show evidence of having an innovative, market-leading and disruptive presence within the creative field is an ideal candidate.

The judges will be particularly looking for:

  • Market leadership (in the UK and, if applicable, internationally)

  • Consistent, profitable growth

  • Scalability of business

  • Positive or disruptive impact on industry/sector/marketplace

  • Undeniable customer engagement

  • Product/service innovation

  • Evidence of best practice in customer service

  • Excellence in people management and workforce motivation

  • Commitment to sustainability and local community

Why enter?
We’re passionate about championing creative industries, wherever possible. And the Growing Business Awards represents an opportunity for creative businesses to be recognised not only for their contribution to the creative field, but also the progression of their business as a successful entity in its own right. Further, gaining exposure has historically brought greater opportunities in terms of funding, PR, international expansion and overall scalability of winners.
