Westminster council has just opened a state of the art enterprise space for creative industries- Paddington Works. Paddington Works is an exciting new venture between Westminster City Council and a private company and has space to enable over 200 creative businesses to develop and grow. The space includes, 6 editing and production suites (including two Faraday Cages), an 80 person auditorium and over 100 co-working desks and 27 private office spaces. Paddington Works will be a new hub for the creative industries in the heart of Paddington and offers space for hosting events and training as well as office space. Paddington Works are offering 10 bursaries to creative enterprises operated and owned by Westminster residents. 5 of these will be specifically for businesses run by an individual who is 25 or under. Successful applicants will receive:

  • 3 months of co-working space (limited to one hot desk per business) starting from January 2019
  • 24/7 access to facilities
  • Locker access
  • Bicycle parking
  • Special rates on meeting rooms and editing suites

To apply for this opportunity you must meet the eligibility criteria:

  • Business must be owned and operated by a Westminster resident
  • Business must have a creative industries focus

Five bursaries will be specifically for businesses owned by young entrepreneurs from Westminster. In addition to the above criteria, to apply for this opportunity you must:

  • Be aged 25 or under at the start of 2019 and the owner and operator of the business
