Terms and Conditions (Events)

1.1 In these terms and conditions the following words shall have the meanings as set out below unless the context requires otherwise:
1.1.1  “We”, “Us”, “Our” and “C.I.F.” means Creative Industries Federation (company number 08793599), whose registered office is 22 Endell Street, London, WC2h 9HD, United Kingdom;
1.1.2  “Partners” means any third party on whose behalf we sell tickets; and
1.1.3  “Terms and Conditions” means the standard terms and conditions as set out in this document.
2.     GENERAL
To purchase tickets, you must be aged 18 or over.
3.1 Any purchases of tickets are subject to: (a) these Terms and Conditions; (b) all other terms and conditions displayed on Our website; and (c) the terms and conditions of our Partners.
3.2  The agreement for purchase of the tickets will commence once We have confirmed your purchase and ends once the event has finished. All purchases are subject to security checks and may be cancelled if you fail these.
4.1  Tickets for events are limited, as such, We cannot guarantee that a booking will be successful. We will not debit your account in the event a booking could not be made due to lack of space and shall notify you as soon as reasonably possible that no booking was made.
4.2  Once We have processed the payment for your tickets, no refund of your tickets will be offered if you cancel your tickets.
4.3  We reserve the right to cancel any booking or transaction if We believe it has been made in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
4.4  Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed as limiting your rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
5.1  Payment in full must be made by credit/debit card.
5.2  The quoted price of your tickets shall not include VAT, service charge and delivery fee (if applicable). If We discover an error in the price quoted on Our website, We will inform you as soon as reasonably practicable and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order which was taken at the incorrectly quoted price.
5.3  Credit/debit card information is only held by Us until the booking of your tickets has gone through, you will then be issued with a receipt and VAT invoice. Any credit/debit card information provided for the purposes of payment of the tickets will be destroyed after the relevant payment has been taken.
6.1 All tickets purchased by you will remain the property of Us or Our Partner. Tickets issued to you are strictly non-transferable and cannot be re-sold or used as prizes or incentives by third parties. We reserve the right to refuse entry or cancel any tickets obtained by re-sale or transfer in contravention of this clause 6.
6.2  We reserve the right to cancel any tickets, or refuse entry to ticket holders, where we believe such tickets are fraudulent. 
6.3  None of the Federation events require a physical ticket for entry. The exception is our anniversary celebration where tickets will be dispatched to the address that is given on the booking form. 
6.4  We do not accept any responsibility should the tickets for the anniversary celebration be lost in the post or should they fail to reach the address provided after posting. We will, however, make reasonable efforts to ensure you receive the tickets at least three (3) days prior to the date of the event for which the tickets were purchased. 7.    Restrictions
7.1 Certain events may have a restriction on the maximum number of tickets which can be purchased per person, We reserve the right to cancel tickets if, for such an event, you order more tickets than the maximum number allowed.
7.2 Tickets may be sold subject to certain restrictions on entry or use. If there are any restrictions to certain events, such restrictions will be notified to you on Our website or prior to the event. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for your failure to ready any notifications.
7.3  We reserve the right to refuse entry to any invitees should they turn up to the event without their tickets or in an inappropriate state. We also reserve the right to eject anyone from an event should they become a nuisance or act in an unruly or inappropriate manner.
8.     EVENT
8.1 If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, We will use reasonable endeavours to notify you of such cancellation in advance.
8.2 Advertised start times of events are subject to change.
8.3 Tickets are sold subject to Our and Our Partner’s right to alter or vary the events as a consequence of circumstances beyond Our reasonable control. In the event that this occurs, you would not be entitled to a refund.
9.1  If an event is cancelled (and not rescheduled), you will be offered a refund of the sale price of your tickets.
9.2  You will not be refunded if you cancel your tickets, or if you fail, for any reason, to attend the event for which you purchased the tickets.
9.3 If an event is rescheduled, you will be offered tickets to any rescheduled event (subject to availability). You shall not be refunded if you are unable to attend the rescheduled event.
10.1  We will not be liable for any loss, theft, injury or damage to any person or property, howsoever caused, unless such loss, theft, injury or damage is a result of any wilful or negligent act of Ours.
10.2  Our liability to you in connection with the tickets shall be limited to the price paid by you for such tickets, and, subject to the foregoing, We accept no liability for any losses, damages, consequential loss (whether direct or indirect), costs, claims and expenses arising out of or in connection with the booking of the tickets for the event.
10.3  Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall operate to limit Our liability for death or personal injury caused by Our negligence.

12.    Waiver
No waiver by Us of any breach of the Terms and Conditions by the you shall be considered as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected thereby.
14.    Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Us with respect to the matters dealt with herein.
15.    Assignment
We or Our Partner may assign the rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions. You may not assign your rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
16.    Third Party Rights
It is not intended that this agreement or the Terms and Conditions will be enforceable by any person that is not a party to it by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
17.    Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This agreement and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law, We and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
